Come one, come all, come BRAY with us! BRAY Day Play Day is back and this year promises to be the best yet. Taking place on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 at Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center in Cave Creek, AZ, BRAY day is a day filled with education, fun classes for you and your long ear, and even a vaccine and Coggins clinic to get those spring shots out of the way.
Long ears of all types are welcome, so bring your donkey, mule, or hinny; if it brays, it plays!
This year’s presentations, in addition to Q&As from our favorite vets, Drs. Minuto and Keyser of Chaparral Vet Med Center, we’ll have emergency preparedness presentations from LASER (Large Animal Shelters and Emergency Readiness), training and handling demos, and more. For our Play Day classes we’ve added two new classes, the Jute Twine Challenge and Jackpacking, and new divisions: open, novice, and youth!
BRAY Day educational presentations are free to attend, and play day classes are $10 per entry. Skills classes (obstacles, Jackpacking, Best In Vet In, and Jute Twine Challenge) will have prize buckles for first place, except youth obstacles, which will have buckles to third place. Obstacles and conformation classes will have a cash payout, amount determined by participation.
