Donkeys are not just horses with long ears. While similar in care, nutrition, and training there are subtle differences that set our long ears apart from horses. Part of BRAY's mission is to educate the public and donkey owners on better care, nutrition, training, and gear.
Below are some links that offer donkey-specific information as well as some important information for any equine owner (such as toxic plants). There are also links to donkey tack/gear as a donkey is shaped very differently than a horse. Properly fitted and adjusted tack can make or break your training/outing.
